Atticus Health was started by an emergency physician who spent years meeting patients on the worst day of their lives. Too often, the crisis that brought a patient in could have been headed off weeks earlier.

The pattern was always the same: a follow-up that never got scheduled, a prescription that quietly ran out, blood pressure climbing for a month with nobody watching. None of it takes a hospital to fix. It takes someone paying attention between appointments — and no health system has ever been staffed for that.

Atticus Health was built to do that work. An autonomous workforce watches over every patient every day, handles what can be handled, and brings clinicians in the moment they are needed. The goal is the one our founder started with: more time with patients, and fewer stories that end in the emergency department.
