Acceptance of these terms
These terms govern your use of atticushealth.com (the "site"), operated by Atticus Health, Inc. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. If you are a member using the Atticus app, separate terms are presented in the app when you sign up — those govern your use of the app, alongside these.
Not medical advice
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number now. Do not rely on this website, the Atticus app, or any message from Atticus in an emergency.
Content on this site is provided for general information about our services. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified clinician. The Atticus app supports care management — it does not replace your doctor either. Always talk to your clinician about medical decisions, and contact them promptly when something doesn't feel right.
Use of the site
You may browse the site and use its materials to learn about and evaluate Atticus. You agree to use the site lawfully and not to interfere with its operation or other people's use of it.
Intellectual property
The site and everything on it — text, design, graphics, logos, and code — belong to Atticus Health, Inc. or its licensors. "Atticus" and the Atticus logo are our trademarks. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute site content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the site or its infrastructure without authorization (security researchers: see our responsible disclosure policy instead);
- Scrape the site at scale, or use automated tools to overwhelm it;
- Misrepresent your affiliation with Atticus, or use the site to send spam or malicious content;
- Attempt to access systems, accounts, or data that are not yours.
Text messages (Atticus by Text)
Atticus by Text is an optional service for enrolled members. If you turn it on, you can text Atticus and it will text you back — to answer questions, log meals, moods, and medication doses, and send reminders you ask for.
How you opt in. You turn it on yourself inside the Atticus app, under Settings, on a screen that does nothing else. It is never on by default and is never a condition of signing up or of receiving care. Allowing health details in a message is a second, separate switch, also off by default.
How often we message. Message frequency varies. Most messages are replies to something you sent. Reminders arrive only when you ask for them or when your care team schedules them.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. We don't charge for the service; your mobile carrier's normal rates are between you and them.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting you. You can also turn it off in the app under Settings. Stopping texts does not affect your care or any other part of Atticus.
How to get help. Reply HELP, or email hello@atticushealth.com.
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, and text is not a way to reach anyone in an emergency.
Emergencies. Atticus by Text is not monitored for emergencies and is not a crisis line. If you are in danger or having a medical emergency, call 911. If you are thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988.
What we do with your number and your messages is described in our privacy policy. We do not sell your information, and we do not share mobile opt-in data with anyone for marketing.
Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atticus Health, Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the site, even if we've been advised such damages are possible. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Atticus harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these terms or your misuse of the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
