Getting started

What does Atticus need?

An iPhone with iOS 26 or later. The Apple Watch app is optional. Atticus is free to download.

How do I sign up?

Open the app and continue with Apple, Google or your phone number. You confirm your phone once by texting a 6-digit code. Then you read and agree to the terms, and Atticus starts gathering your records.

Where are Settings?

Open the menu, then Settings. Settings holds your circle and what they see, your connections, your devices, and Delete your access.

Signing in

I can't sign in.

Sign in the same way you signed up: Apple, Google or your phone number. Check that you have a signal and the latest app version. If it still fails, write to hello@atticushealth.com with the phone number on your account.

Texting my code didn't work.

Text the code from the phone number you entered, exactly as shown. Wait a minute, then try once more. If it still fails, write to us.

I have a new phone.

Install Atticus and sign in the way you signed up. Your records, plan and chats come back. Then allow Apple Health and notifications again on the new phone.

Can I use Atticus on a computer?

Yes. In the app, open Settings, then Sign in on the web.

Your health records

Where do my records come from?

With your permission, Atticus requests your records from your doctors, hospitals, labs, pharmacies and health networks. Atticus builds your care plan from them.

My records aren't showing yet.

Records usually arrive within a day or two of signing up. Some take longer, depending on where you get care. Atticus tells you when new records arrive.

Something in my record is wrong or missing.

Tell Atticus in Chat, or write to hello@atticushealth.com. You can add results you have, such as a lab report, by sending a photo or file in Chat. What you add is marked as added by you.

Does Atticus give medical advice?

Atticus explains your record and helps with care tasks, under a plan licensed clinicians oversee. It does not diagnose and never recommends a dose. Ask your own doctor before any change to your care.

Family and sharing

How do I invite family?

Open Settings, then Your circle and what they see. Invite someone and choose what they see.

What can each person see?

A Caregiver sees and does everything for you. A Supporter sees how you are and your agenda, never your health record. Emergency only hears only of an ER visit or hospital stay.

How do I stop sharing with someone?

Open Settings, then Your circle and what they see. Pick the person, then change their level or remove them.

Apple Health, voice and notifications

Apple Health numbers aren't showing.

On your iPhone, open Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Health, then Atticus. Turn on what you want to share. Atticus reads only what you allow.

Voice doesn't hear me.

On your iPhone, open Settings, then Apps, then Atticus, and turn on Microphone. Voice lets you talk with Atticus out loud. No audio is recorded.

I don't get reminders.

On your iPhone, open Settings, then Notifications, then Atticus, and turn on Allow Notifications.

How do I set up the Watch or widgets?

In the app, open Settings, then Widgets and the Watch.

Texts from Atticus

What number does Atticus use?

Atticus texts and calls from (628) 303-5562. You can text Atticus there too.

How do I stop texts?

Text STOP to Atticus. Atticus sends nothing more to that phone. Text START to turn texts back on, or HELP for help.

Your account and your data

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings, then Delete your access. You sign in once more to confirm. Your sign-in, devices and connections end at once. Health records are kept as health care law requires, and the page lists what is kept.

Can I get a copy of my records?

Yes. Write to hello@atticushealth.com with the phone number on your account. Your rights are in the Notice of Privacy Practices.

Does Atticus cost anything?

The app is free. Atticus asks you first before anything that costs money.

Privacy and AI

Who sees my information?

You, the people you choose, and the care team that oversees your plan. Read the privacy policy and the Notice of Privacy Practices.

How does Atticus use AI?

Amazon Web Services (Amazon Bedrock) reads your records and writes Atticus's answers. OpenAI carries voice talks and the calls Atticus makes for you. Both work under HIPAA agreements, see only what each task needs, and do not train on your data.

How do I report a privacy or security concern?

Write to hello@atticushealth.com with "Privacy" in the subject. Our privacy officer reads it.

Didn't find it? Write to hello@atticushealth.com. See also the terms, the privacy policy and the crisis protocol.
